About the Association
Who we are and what the Ellis County Bar Association does for its members and community.
The Ellis County Bar Association is an organization that brings together the attorneys practicing in and around Ellis County. Our purpose is twofold: to foster collegiality and professional development among members of the local bar, and to serve as a resource for the citizens of Ellis County seeking to understand and access the legal system.
Our members practice across every field — civil litigation, criminal defense, personal injury, family law, probate, real estate, and beyond — and appear regularly before the district and county courts seated at the Ellis County Courthouse in Waxahachie.
Regular luncheons and CLE programs connecting attorneys across practice areas and generations of the local bar.
Law Day observances, mock trial support for county schools, and public legal education for Ellis County citizens.
